Peter Valentino is a fine artist and designer with 35 years of experience. American-born and self-taught at an early age – with a remarkable ability to work with metal, wood, and glass – he has created a stunning portfolio, turning aerospace materials, objects, and artifacts into sculptures and installations that become spectacular works of art.
Mr. Valentino's pieces for Interflight Studio are inspired by his passion for aviation, aerospace and the theme of flight. His fascination with airplanes began at an early age. His first piece, an inspired and intricately detailed aircraft created entirely of wire, was completed when he was only 16. At 19 years old, Peter received his pilot's license, and it was then that his love of flight and artistic talents were forever intertwined. He has since created museum-quality aerospace works, and Interflight Studio curators have spoken highly about his fighter jet replicas as collectible pieces.
Peter also creates a limited number of custom-built, one-of-a-kind aviation-themed bars through his company, Phantom Werks. Each bar takes months from inception through completion – requiring more than 1,000 hours of extensive restoration and hundreds of hours under machinery. Each F-4 Phantom bar is designed to appeal to the discriminating collector, showcasing a passion for aviation while still incorporating the highest quality materials and exacting standards in artistry. Peter's unique line of cigar humidors reflects a fine artist's skilled craftsmanship and expertise and are truly one-of-a-kind.
"Peter's meticulously hand-crafted metal sculptures of iconic United States military fighter jets, each years in the making, exemplify the very best in aviation artwork."
